In order to carry out some repair tasks in Windows, it is sometimes necessary to access files or folders that are normally hidden. These files or folders are hidden to discourage users from tampering with them.
To enable the display of hidden and system files in Windows Explorer folder listings:
Start Windows Explorer.
Click on Tools, Folder Options.
On the Folder Options dialog box, select the View tab.

Under Advanced settings select Show hidden files and folders.
Click OK.
Note: You may need to be able to view critical operating system files. In this case, you should also uncheck the option Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). However, there is rarely any valid reason to be able to access these files using the Windows Explorer interface, and this option should usually be checked, as recommended.
one comment:
Dear Sir,
when I click on drives(C,D,etc.), they show access is denied. I checked out that open is zero(0). how can I make it '1'.
